How can a student dorm encourage greater awareness and interaction among its residents?
This dorm integrates public and private programs through section. Large common programs are slotted into either end of the building. Residences located nearest to these public programs are deformed sectionally and thus share multiple interfacial surfaces. Residential suites interact with circulation by means of common spaces located on bridges spanning the primary circulation of the building. An ambient awareness develops between inhabitants, day students, and the public through sectional manipulation and an abundance of circulation.
